Conference Weekend

Randon, Kayla, Me, Sundi, Ady, Dex, Maren, Lydia, Averi
at Park City Mountain Resort

Ady and I painting pinecones. There wasn't a lot to do with the kids on Sunday because of the weather, so we painted pinecones...logically

We're all hangin out freezing because we did not anticipate it to be that cold!

Lydia and I went down the Alpine Slide together. She's such thrill seeker! We loved it. The only bummer was that there were some slow-poke-scaredy-cats in front of us that we had to slow down for.

Me and baby Jack. You can't see his face but he's really cute. Trust me.

There he is with Sundi. See! I told ya.

On conference weekend my family came to me! My dad rented a condo big enough for all of us in Park City. It was beautiful. I got to ride the Alpine slide, shop with my mom and sisters, play with my nieces, eat good food, and get council from today's leaders of our church. It was perfect.
The reason why you don't see Elliott in any of these pictures is because he was studying for midterms a lot of the weekend, poor guy. But he did get to play with us part of the time.

My adorable Neices

Lydia & Aunt Nellie

Ady, Averi, and Lydia

Mike & Sundi came up with there kids to see the Oquirh Mt. Temple dedication one weekend. I got to hang out with the chitlins in Wet Seal at the Gateway. I love these pictures because they are so girly and fabulous. These girls are the apples of my eyes (and little Jack too, he steals my heart). I also got to witness the birth of Cutie Pie, Ashlyn, and Lucky...their build-a-bears.

Labor Day Weekend...MOAB

Labor Day weekend we got a cheap hotel with the Hatch's in Moab. It was awesome. I wasn't really up for a whole weekend of hiking at first but it wasn't too vigorous and the beauty of it all was worth it. Moab is a beautiful place, not too exciting, but beautiful.

Spinning Averi...so funny

Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D23MOA5-tzc

We were at Sundi's house for Jack's blessing. Elliott started by spinning the girls in the computer chair, and then Lydia fell off and so we moved to the floor. Very sanitary, I know. But the combination of Elliott's arm span and Averi's height equaled the perfect equation for an awesome spin session. We couldn't believe how fast he got her going. I love that she's saying "stop, please, stop" and Elliott just keeps on going. He'll be a great daddy some day ;) ...But her expression at the end is classic.

My Dream...for the moment

Just a craft room of my very own...not even a room. Just a closet, or a cabinet. Is that so much to ask?

Some day, some day

A girl can dream right?

Heber Valley Girls Camp

Girls Camp 2009 baby! It was such a
blast.I was the camp director for our ward
this year.I thought being the camp director
was a ginormous job...not in this ward. It was
great. I planned a few things, hung out with
the girls, and had a great time. Roughing it
you ask? Not really. We had cabins with
electricity,hot water, working bathrooms,
and and awesome food.Girls camp has
definitely changed since I was in YW.
They're really focusing on making it a
spiritual and meaningful time away from
worldly things(not that my girls camp
wasn't all of those things as well).
Our ward is really small, only 7 girls
but all of them came! We were also the
biggest ward in the Stake so, as you can
imagine, it was an intimate close trip
where we got to know everybody.
My girls are awesome! I'm so proud of
them. They were great examples to the
other wards and they really came
together at camp. I can't wait for
next year!

4th of July Weekend- Zions Subway and Angels Landing

We went down to Zions National Park
over 4th of July weekend. We all stayed
at my parents' house and hiked out butts off.
I almost didn't make it to the top of Angels
Landing because I was so freaked out
but Elliott was a good coach. We had a great
time with the Hatchs (David and Heather),
and our buddy Cory, who was also our
awesome tour guide...the guy is a natural.
Needless to say, it was a lot of
fun and we got some great pictures to prove it.
